Blackjack Rules and Strategy

Blackjack is the most frequently played table game in casinos today.  This can be attributed to the fact that it is one of the easiest to learn and play.  What separates blackjack from most other casino games is that it is based on “dependant trial processes”, meaning the odds are not constant from one hand to the next. Odds change depending on the cards that were played in previous hands. 

With blackjack, if you play by the book, your odds of winning are about 50/50, better than with any other type of play.  Also, in blackjack players must make a playing decision after their bet is made rather than before as in most other table games.  For these reasons, blackjack gives skillful players the best shot at winning.  The key to becoming one of those skillful winners is to know the game and strategize your gamble.
